Paulo Rosa is a native of Santiago Island. He showed an aptitude for art from a young age and studied art, design, and architecture in Lisbon. He works on a variety of projects in Praia, ranging from construction to book illustration. He also regularly teaches art classes to disadvantaged Cape Verdean youth.
